Burakumin (部落民)

The burakumin (部落 民?) Japan's outcast group consists of approximately 3 million individuals ethnically, linguistically, and racially indistinguishable from the other Japanese.

The discrimination of this social group is based mainly on occupational reasons, more specifically, on the work done by the ancestors of hundreds of years ago.
